Nikolaj has a solid and significant background in finance. He started his career at Nordea, before transitioning to entrepreneur banking.
He spent five years at the Danish export and innovation fund (formerly Vækstfonden), specializing in growth lending for SaaS companies. With almost a decade in growth debt financing and having led over 100 growth financing transactions, he is one of the most hands-on experts in this asset class in the Nordics.

Nikolaj is driven by the opportunity to help and educate founders on optimizing their capital structure through long-term debt, which he believes is an undervalued asset class in the SaaS sector. He finds it incredibly rewarding to witness the real impact this education and funding can have on promising early stage tech companies.
It might not come as a surprise that his personal conviction that non-dilutive capital for tech and SaaS companies has the potential to become mainstream, benefiting the entire tech ecosystem.
