Lydia comes from a background in investment banking, with nearly eight years at Pareto Securities. Starting as a sell-side equity analyst, she moved through trading to become a credit analyst focused on high yield bonds.

Her transition from analyst to investment manager at a fintech startup was natural due to her strong sales and analytical skills.

Lydia is driven by her passion for working with mission-driven entrepreneurs. And she excels in helping founders secure funding while maintaining control of their businesses. A key achievement at Gilion was leading the company’s expansion into the Finnish market, filling a gap in tech lending for the region.

Lydia continues to advocate for a balanced mix of equity and debt in funding, aiming to shift the misconception that debt is only a secondary option to equity. Known for her dedication, Lydia aims to always be available to assist founders, and she believes in providing the best capital structure for startups.
