Fredrik Brändström

Fredrik holds a Master's in Business Management from Stockholm School of Economics and has strong experience in venture capital and startup operations. He played a key part in launching Norrsken's pre-seed impact accelerator and investment team, screening over 2,300 startups to select the top 20. His work contributed to securing follow-on investments from prominent firms like Breakthrough Energy, SoftBank, and EQT. Additionally, he served as a Visiting Investment Analyst at Norrsken VC and worked in the go to market team at Depict AI, a top Y-Combinator company.

Fredrik's professional journey has given him a deep understanding of both the early stage investing and operational sides of startups. His highlights have been meeting numerous passionate entrepreneurs striving to build something great.

With his experience from being on the frontline in different operator roles and evaluating over 3,000 startups in three years, Fredrik can both empathize with the struggle of constant uncertainty that often comes with building something new as well as leverage his experience from seeing over 3000 startups from an investor perspective. 

Fredrik is motivated by the opportunity to support entrepreneurs. He believes many startups are better off building businesses without the pressures of VC funding and is working actively to change the perception of VC funding as a must have for startups.
